I’ve been using Vanishing Cream lately, but when I went to switch back to Imperialis this morning, I opened the black pot just to see my moisturizer was entirely covered in mold. I’m absolutely infuriated. It says ‘Best Before September 13th 2013’. What the Hell is going on lately, Lush? This is a waste of a few weeks worth of moisturizer. I’m super disappointed.

What’s the best way to use Ro’s Argan?
i take a nice warm shower, and after i’ve used soap/shower gel and rinsed off, i turn off my shower and sit on the edge of my tub. i massage a generous amount of ro’s argan all over my body, focusing on my legs the most (they’re really dry typically). then i sit for about 5 minutes to let the body conditioner soak into my skin. then i towel dry without rinsing it off with water (but you can rinse off quickly with warm water if you’d like)

but i’m starting to consider just buying 100g shower gels & jellies… i use SO many different products that i end up finding a 500g bottle impossible to finish (unless it’s a complete staple). i still have bottles & bottles of retro shower gel from this time last year! (i’ve actually ended up giving my boyfriend a fair few of them!)
they’re also better to keep in the shower… maybe a little rule to myself! 100g bottles unless it’s rare or everyday!
i just made this my personal rule about a week ago, too!
i’ve also taken inventory of my stash and started using my oldest things now, and saving the freshest stuff for later!

Today I call upon you to help me!
I’ve been working at Lush as a Christmas temp and if they decide to keep me on I want to go to the labs and invent a product. I’ve had an idea but I just need you all to tell me one thing:
What smell reminds you of home?
Freshly baked cookies? The air on a crisp morning? Apples? You don’t have to give a specific fragrance (like ‘patchouli’ for example) but if there is a specific fragrance then that is fine. Just write down the first thing that comes to mind.I don’t think my ‘Ask’ box works so either send it as fan mail or email me;

cloved oranges. my mum used to bake ham with them and sometimes she’d even just spike cloves into a few oranges and leave them in a fruit bowl on the kitchen counter. that, and pure vanilla = the smell of my childhood
